Hello, Everyone--
It's wedding season, and my latest article from the Feng Shui site at BellaOnline.com is all about Wedding Feng Shui. Every bride dreams of the perfect, harmonious wedding day, and you can help assure a beautiful wedding by incorporating a little Feng Shui into the planning.
For example, Feng Shui principles can help you choose the dress. In Western countries the bride usually wears a wedding gown in a shade of white. Feng Shui principles suggest that ivory, cream, ecru, and off-white are luckier than pure white because these are natural colors that represent the Earth Element energy. In Asia, the most auspicious color for wedding dresses is red because this is the color of happiness. To combine the two traditions a Western bride could add a pop of red somewhere, like in your wedding bouquet or hair ornament. It's perfectly acceptable to choose a gown that has been worn before, just make sure that the energy you feel from the previous owner is positive.
The article also gives tips for choosing the location for the wedding reception, the table shape, colors for decorations and the bridesmaids dresses, and more.

I look forward to hearing from you, either by e-mail or through the Feng Shui Forum.
