July 7 2010 Mystery Books Newsletter

Hey everyone!

How is the heat in your part of the world? We are in the 90s in mid-Michigan! Must be summer and time for more cozy mysteries for your summer reading pleasure.

This is the 6th in the Maggy Thorsen Mystery Series based on her coffeehouse, Uncommon Grounds. Hope you enjoy the review and check out the series by Sandra Balzo, if you haven't already.

A Cup of Jo Book Review
As Uncommon Grounds gourmet coffee shop owner Maggy Thorsen prepares for the grand opening at her new location, the body of her missing events planner shows up at the bottom of an inflated coffee cup when the advertising display accidently comes crashing down.

Quote from today's cozy mystery, A Cup of Jo:

"A mime is a terrible thing to waste," Sarah Kingston snarled. "But damned if we shouldn't take a machine gun to this one, Maggy."
