The Wrist & Repetitive Strain Injuries
Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSIs) from computer use or desk work can cause headaches, eyestrain, and pain through the neck, shoulders, arms and back. "The Wrist" is part of a series that takes a closer look at the mechanism of injury & specific injury prevention techniques for particular pain areas.

The July issue of Shape Magazine offers these tips for achy hand muscles caused by repetitive PDA or computer use -

For $$$, try The BlackBerry Balm Hand Massage offered at Hyatt Hotel Spas or the BlackBerry Thumb conditioning Treatment at the Spa at Camelback Inn (in Arizona).

For less $$, try massaging the achy areas with a mint lotion. The mint will feel soothing while the massage increases circulation to the area. Follow the massage with gentle stretches.
