Hot news from the box:
The ever popular Dawn French comedy, the Vicar of Dibley, is set to end this Christmas with a two hour special. After twelve years, production company chairman Peter Bennett-Jones would only confirm that the show would end with a 'big moment' .
ITV has created a list of the top 50 TV stars of all time . The public is being asked to put them in order, ready for a special later in the year to be hosted by Corrie's Bradley Walsh.
FilmFour will relaunch on July 23rd as a free service available through Freeview, cable and satellite. A name change to Film4, plus the incorporation of ads on the channel, will coincide with the overhaul.
Silent Witness will return later this month, for its tenth series. Notable among the guest stars is Burt Kwouk, most memorable in his role as Inspector Clouseau's crazy sidekick Cato.
