From the Editor:
Hello Large & Lovelies,
Hope you're enjoying August. Hard to believe school will be starting soon. I'm finally getting use to having Jeff home and I'll have to see him off again. We've been laying low since we returned from the in-laws. It's been too hot to do much of anything. Well, we did rip up the living room carpet. Is that exciting or what?
We found some mediocre hard wood underneath. A couple spots will have to be treated so they don't get weather warn from washing but otherwise they weren't bad. Jeff promises to sand them next summer. If there's time and energy we'll rip up the living room carpet as well.
Why would we go to all this trouble you ask. The carpet is old, we both have allergies and well with the pets we think it collects more than we get rid of. We only did the living room because a. it was more work than we expected (having to move furniture etc) b. Jeff wants to get use to this small area first. Whatever (insert weird face).
