A Target on Target
The Living wage Coalition has set their sights on Target. The Chicago City Council passed an ordinance requiring stores to pay a living wage of $10 per hour In an effort to get the mayor to veto the ordinance, Target is bullying the city with threatening to cancel the opening of three new stores.

Progressives Take Back the Party in Connecticut
Ned Lamont won the Democratic primary, ousting Senator Joe Lieberman. Joe Lieberman had become the symbol of everything that was wrong with the Democratic Party. Democrats turned out in record numbers to have their voice heard. They have had enough; they are ready to take America in a new direction.

A Dickens of a Time
Clinton questioned Rumsfelds credibility. Rumsfeld responded stating that he never that he had never painted a rosy picture and that she would have a dickens of a time trying to find instances where I have been excessively optimistic. This is of course, a challenge Clinton could not pass up.

The Democrats have a new agenda, Six for 06. This agenda is different from others, in that it provides a compare and contrast. It shows how the Republicans have taken us in the wrong direction, and the new direction that Democrats will take us in setting the priorities for the 109th Congress.
