Greetings from the Land of Oz!

Last week my husband and I celebrated our 32nd wedding anniversary with dinner and a movie. People are often surprised that we've been married so long. We don't look glamorous. Our lifestyle is simple. I don't wear a lot of jewelry that he's lovingly given me. My husband has never gotten to go on that sailing cruise. But year after year we trundle along, enjoying each other's company. We take pleasure in the small, everyday joys that come to us.

Why do some couples’ marriage last and grow stronger, even though the path is not smooth for them? Others seem to have it all, but their marriage crashes and burns! What makes the difference? How does Attention Deficit Disorder factor into all of this?

Our morning tomorrow is supposed to be the coolest in a month! Maybe the tomatoes will recover. It would be nice to have fall tomatoes. Fall means getting ready to go back to school. Soon teachers will know how well we spent our summer planning for this new school year. Parents need to plan for the school year, too. This is especially true if your child has ADD/ADHD.
