A few days ago, I watched a new group of kindergarten students enter our school. It was a no-tear day! I think our Kindergarten Summer Play Date was a big help to ease some of the nervousness that many of those students felt.

There was a new student today who walked right into kindergarten without her mama - which was a good thing because her mom was busy helping her reluctant first grader. Sigh. Motherhood.
