This is a rare diagnosis given to people who have an irresistible urge to pull out the hair from their scalp, eyelashes, eyebrows, or other parts of the body, resulting in noticeable hair loss. While many would think it is an anxiety or obsessive-compulsive type disorder, it is actually an impulse control disorder.
