British Television Newsletter
Hello everyone,
Welcome to another burst of TV news and gossip.
I'm back now, with a new baby in my arms.
Jane Frances is doing extremely well, and her siblings are delighted with her.
Enough about me, on with the gossip !
New article on site now:
This week I've begun a short series of articles on new shows for fall on UK TV. Even if you are one of my many North American readers, do give this a look. Most of these programmes will air here next year. First up is my pick of three of hot new dramas from the Beeb:

Telly Talk:
I loved Kevin Whately in Inspector Morse, as the egg n' chip eating Geordie Sergeant. He was also super in the one off Morse sequel which attracted 11 million viewers on ITV1 earlier in the year. The good news is that he will return for three new episodes of Lewis, in his new rank of Inspector.
Sir David Jason is back to reprise the role of super criminal Des in Diamond Geezer. ITV1 will air three ninety minute episodes in the new year. Jason fans will also be happy to see him back on the right side of the law with a new Touch of Frost special entitled Endangered Species, to be seen this autumn.
BBC America has picked up three new shows set to air in November as part of their new lineup. US rights have been acquired for BBC Three's Paparazzi, ITV's Vincent and Channel 4's No Angels.
That's all for this week.
See you soon.
