OOPS! Would you believe that I featured the article a day early? I could say that I was motivated, but the truth is that I got a bit off-schedule with teachers' meetings.
School teachers and parents are always trying to motivate kids. Sometimes people believe in using rewards. Others say that rewards should not be necessary. What about adults? How do we get that boost that we require when something needs to be done, yet we seem unable to start and accomplish the task at hand?
How are you able to do something when you just don't feel like working on it? For many people with Attention Deficit Disorder, focus and motivation can be ongoing problems. Read what research has to say about rewards and motivation. Then, plan for success!
