Autism Spectrum Disorders

September 17 2007 Autism Spectrum Disorders Newsletter

Greetings Everyone ~

We finally went wireless this past weekend with the help of Geek Squad. The computer on loan from k12 curriculum and California Virtual Academy is hooked up in kitchen for Nicholas to do work. I now also have a working CD rom and have started exploring the software I have to review.

I wanted to make sure all subscribers knew about the upcoming Jenny McCarthy press tour. Her book is on sale today, entitled Louder Than Words: A Mother's Journey in healing autism.

I also started a group on CafeMom. Here is the link to media talk where you can find information on upcoming tv shows and any articles I learn about that are in newspapers and worth sharing.

In the near future now that I have software access I will be reviewing Boardmaker at Home and two CDs through Children's Hospital of Boston. Learning Together with Music - Activities that teach language and social communication and from the Center of Communications Disorders at the Hospital for Children, Puddingstone Place. More info on these can be found here -
