Hello, hello!
Summer's hanging in here in the Canadian Rockies -- supposed to reach 26 Celcius today! Played hookey from writing the other day and scrambled up Moose Mountain (a popular fire lookout near Calgary). No wind -- which is rare. Leaves are slowly changing and gold is colouring the landscape. Summer crowds are gone. I love fall hiking!
Been thinking a lot about backpacking food lately and as the season turns to cooler mornings, I decided to focus on warm breakfast foods beyond oats. Check out the latest article from the Hiking & Backpacking site at BellaOnline.com.
