Hi there,
I've always found that one of the most difficult aspects of looking after a child with special needs is the meetings I've had to attend. One of my featured articles this week focuses on meetings and how to make them a little easier, from a parents perspective. Over the coming weeks we'll look at the same subject from a teachers perspective.
I'd also like to tell you about an amazing event that is happening this month in Chicago USA. ADORE 2010 is an annual, city-wide event that acknowledges, honors and celebrates parents of children with special needs.Details are posted below. It seems to me that this is an event that should be taking place the world over for parents of children with special needs. I'm told it's a fabulous day for parents and just what they need!
