Hello, Everyone--
My latest article on the Feng Shui site at BellaOnline.com is about "Feng Shui and the Military Family." In this article I describe some of the simple Feng Shui changes you can make around your home to support loved ones in the military who are deployed, as well as support the military family at home. For example, whenever a military family member is deployed, I recommend displaying two photographs of him or her in the Family Area of the home -- one in uniform and one in civilian clothes – to symbolize a speedy and safe return from combat to family life.
Constant worry, loneliness, and anxiety are some of the difficulties of managing a household when a spouse is deployed, as is the need to act as both mother and father to children. That’s why it’s important to make Feng Shui changes to create a harmonious household and a sanctuary for family members. The article includes more Feng Shui changes you can make to help restore family harmony during the stressful time whenever a loved one in the military is away from home.

After you read the article, post your thoughts about how we can all support military families in our community. The Feng Shui Forum is located at http://forums.bellaonline.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=postlist&Board=70.
I hope to hear from you sometime soon, either directly by e-mail or in the Feng Shui forum.
Best regards,
Carol
