Hello!
When I was in college, ornithology was one of my favorite subjects, because it was one of the areas of study that I could actually practice from my home or anywhere else in the world with just the help of some binoculars and a Petersen Field Guide! Today I still take an avid interest in the birds around my home - their species, their songs, and their nesting habits.
Do you know the birds in your area? Which are your favorites? Feel free to drop by the Biology Forum to talk about birds!
This week I continue my short series on ornithology - here's the latest article from the Biology site at BellaOnline.com.
