Greetings!

This week begins our dive into the "Shortcuts Series" where I'll lay the foundation necessary to make your cooking processes, regardless of the diet you follow, more 'turnkey'. This week's article focuses on 5 methods you can use to transform the flavor and texture of your tofu into something a lot more familiar and meaty.

Did you know that tofu really will take on the characteristics you prepare it to?

I've cheffed for countless people and functions who've wanted 'the vegetarian' experience and thought that I cheated by slipping in some meat in my dishes. The texture was so much like meat that I had to convince them that I didn't use meat. These methods will give you a better foundation for you to base similar results on; but before we get into that, let's catch up on this past week's happenings.
