Happy Autumn, and I trust you are having a good week!
This week’s article is on the subject of Sepsis, or blood poisoning. It is not published yet (I apologize), but I should have it out by Wednesday.
Signs and Symptoms : red rash, red splotches, high fever, immediately followed by violent vomiting and by this time – slight incoherence.
URGENT: get the person to the ER IMMEDIATELY. They will need to see an Internal Medical doctor. They will need to be put on IV fluids, blood tests done quickly to isolate the type of bacteria they have, so antibiotics can be administered quickly by IV.

Healthy Tip (to prevent blood poisoning):
Garlic: lowers blood pressure, and cleanses the blood.
Onion: cleanses the blood.
As a survivor, your stomach will more than likely not tolerate harsh varieties, so try:
Sweet white onion
Vadalia onions are the most mild.
Scallions (long, thin with green ends).
Recipe:
Beef or Chicken Stir-fry over Rice
Saute garlic and thinly sliced onion in olive oil in a skillet on medium heat. Add a small amount of sea salt and butter, to prepare the stir fry; add thinly sliced red and yellow pepper (cleaned with no seeds). Add thinly sliced steak or chicken tenders, with red and yellow pepper. Serve over a brown rice, or Thai rice. Delicious!
p.s. Garlic is only harsh if eaten raw, so be sure to sauté first, or peel, wrap in foil and bake. (spread on French bread to eat with a Spaghetti meal (just delicious).
