Greetings from the Budget Decor Editor at BellaOnline.com!

It's been a crazy few weeks in Virginia and along the east coast with the unexpected earthquake, followed by Irene. My family and loved ones are okay - I hope you and your loved ones are okay, too! While it wasn't a big one, we aren't used to earthquakes in this "neck of the woods" and being less than 20 miles from the epicenter was a little crazy momentarily. As for Irene, we are fortunate to be 3 hours inland and have only received heavy rains and some localized flooding; unlike the damage in other areas. My prayers to those affected, along with those going through fires and storms in other areas of the country, too.

Before getting to the rest of the Newsletter, I want to also take this time to remember those who lost friends and family during 9-11 as we go into this 10 year anniversary of that tragic day.
