Woman of the Bible Profile
Who is she? Abigail, a beautiful intelligent woman, married to a fool.
Where is her story found? I Samuel 25
What did she do? She used wisdom and good judgment to protect her family from bloodshed and danger.

Prayer Request
Pray for women who are/were in danger and decided to preserve thier lives and the lives of her children by leaving an abusive marriage. Pray that she "does not feel like a failure and . . . is not disobedient to God" ("Abigail: Living with a Difficult Husband by Alice Matthews) by protecting the life He created "fearfully and wonderfully" (Psalm 139:14).

Mission Update
Look for a domestic violence shelter in your area to donate basic items we sometimes take for grated: toothpaste, feminine protection products, deodorant, toothbrushes, underwear, razors, children's clothing and shoes, school supplies, etc. When a woman leaves home, sometimes the only thing she and the children have are the clothes on their backs. Prayerfully help consistently, please.
