Who is she? Phoebe whose name means radiant or bright.
What did she do? She was a servant of the church.
Where can her story be found? Romans 16: 1-2
Why is her story important? Phoebe is important because we can learn from her that no matter what capacity we serve, we must do it with cheerfulness, radiant joy, and excellence.

Mission Update
According to Dr. KP Yohannan of Gospel for Asia, “the murderous rampage against Christians in India continues. This week the violence spread from Orissa to its neighbors Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh. Another wave of attacks is claiming lives in Karnataka, another Indian state hundreds of miles away from Orissa. Violence was even reported in the usually peaceful state of Kerala!” Keep all of Asia lifted in prayer as missionaries share the Gospel.

Prayer Request
Please remember to keep our country in prayer as we go into our next election. Pray that all will cast votes based upon values, research of the issues, and an understanding of what each party stands for and against.
