June 7 2007 Bowling Newsletter

Trouble concentrating when you're on the approach? Do you lose your confidence when you must have a spare or strike? This week's article should help you if you take it to heart and more importantly, to your mindset.

Visualization And Your Game
Visualization should be a part of every bowler's game in order to develop their competitiveness and raise their average.

1) You have until July 1, 2007, to apply as a volunteer and make an impact on the national level. Volunteers are being sought for these USBC committees: Youth Committee, Nominating Committee, and Board of Directors. Get your application online at
2) The dubious record for most splits in one game is 11 (eleven). The article didn't mention what the final score was but, who cares?
3) The number of people who went bowling in 2006 increased from 2005.
4) I, for one, am looking forward to the PBA Women's Series later this season. As a tight-line bowler, I pick up a lot of hints and tips by watching the women pros bowl.
