My mother's surname was Jett. Nearly all Jetts in America are descended from Peter Jett and family, who arrived in the colonies in 1660 along with Francis Triplett and his family. Francis was married to Peter's sister, and Peter was married to Francis' sister. They settled in Old Rappahannock Co., Virginia, and of Peter's three sons, only two had descendants--William and John. I am descended from John. I would be interested in corresponding with anyone interested in those two names.
