I've had to make some difficult decisions recently, which affect a lot of people. My hope is that I have modeled the decision making process well for my kids. Sometimes I find that I am in a situation where change must occur, and all I can do is try to direct it in a positive way. I was actually talking things out with my three year old the other day, and she listened with wide eyes and gave me a sympathetic hug. That's one for my memory book.
