Now that it's September, we're attempting to settle into our fall routine. My oldest is living away from home at college for the first time. He seems happy to be more independent, and I'm trying not to worry so much about whether he eats his veggies. We have to restructure our chore system to accommodate one less worker, and see what we can do with those workboots he wore for mucking out horse stalls all summer!

Happy September, everyone! Fall is the most picturesque time to be in New England! I can hardly wait for those leaves to start turning.
