As for me, this week, my homeschoolers began a new Latin program. I also spoke to a middle school principal, school board member, and superintendent in an effort to have my son included in the local Math Counts competition. So far, it looks like it won't be happening this year, due to a policy set in 1998 which states that homeschoolers will not be permitted to join in any school activities. Seems silly to me, as we pay taxes just like anyone else.
