Shalom everyone! I hope you had a tzom kal--an easy and meaningful fast and a meaningful Yom Kippur. Although the High Holidays of 5772 are now behind us, our holiday season is far from over--we still have Sukkot and Shemini Atzeret/Simchat Torah to look forward to, which are some of the happiest days on the Jewish calendar.

Sukkot - The Feast of Booths
On the fifteenth of Tishrei, we begin the seven day observance of Sukkot or the Feast of Booths. In contrast to the Days of Awe with their inward and introspective focus, Sukkot is known as Zman Simchateinu—literally, the time of our joy.
