There are a lot of emotions mixed up in the notion of a "chosen people". You may feel embarrassed, special, humbled, or just plain old confused. In my latest article, I look at some possible explanations for what "a chosen people" might mean.

Does the notion of the Jews as a Chosen people come from bringing the belief of one G-d to the world - or from our experiences at Mount Sinai when the Torah was received?
