Knock Knock, it’s that time of the week again. I hope this newsletter finds you in a good place, with a few minutes to browse through our little catch up.
A week after our return home, I’ve caught up with the washing, ironing, catching up on emails and phone messages and even had a chance to catch up with friends. I’m slowly getting around the updating my blog of our journey. I took some great pictures and will tell you all about them over at my blog, where I’ll be adding bits when I get some time. This week our Queensland Quilters Quilt Show is in full swing, starting this morning and going for five days. I spent yesterday with others including my darling husband (DH), setting up the Project Linus and Sunshine Linus section of the Show.
We have a great space this year and were able to showcase just about everything we do for our respective communities, Project Linus in Brisbane and Sunshine Linus on the Sunshine Coast. The booth will be manned (womaned!!) by members for the whole five days and it’s a great way to increase our profile amongst fellow quilters.
We rely heavily on donated fabrics for the making of not only our quilts, but x-ray bags, treasure bags, sensory aprons and quilts and the like. Just about every scrap of fabric that is donated is used in some way.
I have recently received this request from a reader. Can you help? I am looking for a fabric impossible to find and hope an email out from you would help. It is a Quilted Treasures line by Kari Pearson called Country Goodness in a golden mottle with little white dots. The first part of the SKU is 21053. The fabric is about a year old. Please, please help me and thank you if you can help me locate this material. Sandy. I have found a picture of the fabric Sandy is looking for.
