December 23 2008 Quilting Newsletter

Hello to all my Bellaonline Quilting Newsletter subscribers. It’s Christmas Eve and there’s an air of anticipation abounding. I’ve been very busy wrapping presents whilst listening to Christmas Carols from all over the world. Subscribers to the Quilters Quarters Newsletter come from all over the world, so I thought the CD I was playing was very fitting.

I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and joyful and peaceful (pieceful) New Year to you all. For those who don’t celebrate Christmas, I wish you Happy Holidays and all the best for the New Year ahead.

I guess this is a time for us to review the past year and set some goals for the next year. My goals are pretty simple and I don’t mind sharing them with you. Goal One is to continue to stay in remission and well; Goal Two is to continue to surround myself with optimistic positive people; and Goal Three is to continue to bring to you, the BellaOnline readers as much interesting and helpful information about the quilting world as I can possibly stuff into the year.

I must thank all the readers who have emailed me throughout the year and of course the readers who have contributed to the quilting forum throughout 2008. I just love the contact I’ve made with you all, it certainly helps me to focus on the purpose of this website – it’s all about YOU.

So my dear friends, I will sign off with the last newsletter for 2008. I’m taking a two week break from the newsletter and I will be back at my desk on the 7th January 2009 ready to welcome in another year of creating wonderful stuff.

I’d love to give you all a special present from me, but that is impossible. So here’s a pretty cute “card” from me to you. I hope you get a giggle – I certainly did, (especially the cymbal player – I have an affinity with cymbal players as I was one once, and managed to clash my cymbals in the wrong place during a very serious piece. It was the only time the cymbals were used in that piece and I managed to mess it up. Like I say I was a cymbal player ONLY ONCE!!).

Cheerio for now, see you in 2009
Love and best wishes to you all
