Hello quilters and welcome to another newsletter from Quilters Quarters at Bellaonline. We have just enjoyed the Easter holiday break which allows four days “holiday” over the weekend from Friday morning through to Monday night.

Because our children are scattered to the winds, we didn’t have family to celebrate with this year, so it was a very quiet affair. And I must say, productive for me. I had a number of projects lined up ready to go Friday morning and am happy to report I managed to get them all finished over the four day period. Yeah!

I managed to bind 9 quilts in readiness for hand stitching, make and quilt a baby quilt for a friend, and make 9 “Memory Bags” for a still birth association. I now have the very daunting task of sorting through potential “touchy feely” resources and create kits ready for sewing. I might take a bit of a rest after I’ve got that in hand!
