Hello there, it’s that time of the week again. It’s been a busy week for me here in Brisbane with gatherings of both craft groups - Sunshine Linus and Sisters of Stitch this week. Love the get togethers, the chat, the wonderful ladies, the stitching and of course the home bake!!!
Some of our ladies love to make beautiful yummy afternoon tea treats for us, and I’m so appreciative. I’d rather be stitching than baking, and I know these wonderful cooks really welcome the opportunity to bake for others, especially now that there’s often no one else in their home to bake for.
And some of the goodies are to die for! Good old fashioned biscuits and cakes are a rare treat, and I’m afraid I work very hard not to disappoint and do my bit to make sure the plates are empty at the end of the afternoon.
My article that I posted last week is part of a new category I’ve added to the Quilt website called the How To Series. I’m gradually going through my teaching notes and posting the entire “how to” information I’ve collected and taught over the years. Last week’s article is all about calculating the setting and corner triangles when putting blocks on point in your quilt top. Pop over to the forum and make any suggestions you’d like me to write about there. Here’s the link:
