Hello one and all, it’s that time of the week again when I pop my head through the door and say “HI!”. It’s May already. Can’t ever get over the speed to which the first four months of every year go. It seems like we’ve just finished unwrapping the Christmas presents!

May always means Mothers Day and it is a time where we can give thanks for all that our Mothers have done for us. I give thanks for my Mothers genes – I really believe I inherited her skills as a competent needleworker. I give thanks to my Mother for my bower bird tendencies. Mum was a good one for not throwing anything out, and I’m following in her footsteps.

I also give thanks for the wonderful gift my Mother gave me of playing a music instrument. We didn’t have much, but my Mother found the means to pay for me to learn the piano. I have much to be thankful for.
