Hello everyone, it’s a busy week again for me, chasing down items on my to do list and getting some done! I like to have structure to my day, even though I don’t “work” for money, I like to behave as if I do. I find I get far more done that way. I try to get my housework done in the morning, hopefully by mid-morning, which leaves the rest of the day for the things I love to do like writing to you and quilting. I am usually in work mode by 9:00am and finish about 4:00pm, so that’s a pretty busy day.
Please don’t think I’m a very organised person, because sometimes I completely lose my mojo and spend the whole day in front of the TV watching Downton Abbey reruns or I’ll spend the day surfing the net for interesting goodies to pass onto you. Sometimes I’ll even spend the day sorting through my fabrics.
I consider myself very fortunate that I’m able to be at home and not have to go out to work for someone else – although I did do that for 40 years. Now I’m my own boss and I can be particularly difficult manager at times LOL!
Last week I posted another book review on a pretty nice publication called Patchwork Loves Embroidery and it’s by an Australian author and quilter – Gail Pan. Here’s the link for you
