Quilting

August 7 2013 Quilting Newsletter

Hello again, it’s almost spring here in Brisbane Australia, with longer days and much warmer throughout the day. I do love this time of year. All the plants and trees are starting to sprout their new green shoots. I have two port wine magnolias at the front of my house and their drooping with so many beautiful flowers with just the hint of pink on white. And the scent is quite overpowering. I haven’t noticed a scent in the past, so I’m feeling particularly lucky this year.

I’ve been editing this website for nearly six years and as an editor it is expected that you will write an article every week for your readers. I have managed to do just that since October 2007, but last week I messed it up – quite unintentionally I might add. Somehow, I incorrectly entered the posting date and completely missed the deadline. At first I was devastated that I have wrecked my perfect record. But the sky hasn’t fallen in, and the world continues to turn regardless, but all the same please accept my apology for my silly boo-boo.

The forum has been a little quiet, with a few more additions to the three best tips for quilters. Pop over to the forum and join us won’t you? Here’s the link: http://forums.bellaonline.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=postlist&Board=43
