Hi everyone, I’ve just spent the morning stitching with my friend. We have a really lovely time, catching up and taking advice from each other on our stitching. I’m doing another piece of Stupendous Stitching and I really value my friends’ comments.
She’s the organic embroiderer; I’m the neat, tidy and anxious one. I wish I could have some of her “let’s do it and see” attitude – I really need freeing up somehow. I’m sure I’m not alone in my feelings – I hear the same from a lot of quilters too.
Perhaps I’ve just got to embrace my OCD tendencies and make the most of them. Hmmmm, I’ll put that statement in my little thought box and get back to you on it!
Last week I wrote an article about Quilt Novels. I must admit, novels are not my most favourite genre of literature – I’m a Biography kinda gal. But I do recognise that there’s a huge audience out there who just love the quilt focussed novels being written at the moment. To that end, I’ve researched and identified some of the ‘series’ that are available at the present time. Here’s the link: http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art181550.asp
