All this from just walking! The recommended number of steps for you to aim for each day is 10,000.

This is approx 5 miles a day – now this may seem like a lot but you can break it down into more manageable chunks

Try walking for half an hour at lunch time and then again in the evening.

Walk for 10 minutes in your coffee break, 20 minutes at lunch time and half an hour in the evening.

If you have a dog it is easy – just walk the dog two or three times a day and you will easily do an hours walking
