Appalachia

October 10 2012 Appalachia Newsletter

Greetings to all folks near and far.

At this time of year I get in the mood for baking and thinking about holiday recipes. It will not be long before I will have some delicious cookie recipes for you. I have several recipes for cookies that have been handed down in the family for a few generations -- I think you will like them, for they are pretty when displayed on a lovely dish, or a tiered glass tray. They also make wonderful Christmas gifts when packed in pretty tins.

I love the taste of lemon in a dessert and dug through my Down Home Recipe Box to find a special one for you. I hope you like it.

Here is my latest article from the Appalachia site at BellaOnline.com.

Lemon And Berry Delight Cups - Recipe
With fresh or thawed frozen berries on top, it makes for an attractive dessert presentation when the ramekin is served on a pretty saucer with two thin wafer cookies on the side.

If you have recipes to share, you are most welcome to join me in my forum and tell me about the history and tips of your recipe. I look forward to meeting you and chatting.

Till next time, may you walk in peace and harmony.
