Greetings to all folks near and far.

Warmer weather is for sure on the way and there will be lots of family gatherings to attend with lots of food. One thing that just about everyone likes is cornbread or corn pone. And there are still some chilly evenings when a nice hot corn pone pie will be much appreciated at the table.

Corn pone, and a special casserole type pie are easy recipes for just about any time of the year. The aroma of these delights as they are taken out of the oven is a call to everyone that supper is on the table.
