Have you ever seen Appalachian dancers clogging or flat footing? It is quite fun to watch the dancers perform these traditional dances. One of the best dancers is a jig doll, or limberjack. Come and read about the jig doll, the Appalachian dancing doll.

One of the oldest and most fun of all traditional folk art is the dancing doll. These dolls are called jig dolls, limberjacks, busker's puppet, clogger, jigger, paddle doll or just dancing doll.
