It almost seems laughable, the idea of more works by Edvard Munch stolen. Over a year ago the paintings: "Madonna" (1893-94) and "The Scream" (1893) were stolen from Oslo's Munch Museum. Recently, from the Hotel Continental in Oslo, Norway, 2 thieves stole 3 of 13 lithographs and escaped. They were: "Self Portrait" (1895), "Melancholy" (1896) and "Vampire" (1895-1902). But were they original lithographs or reproductions? This time they were fakes. The thieves were cleverly conned. It would appear that crime didn't pay in this case. Buy Posters Here From
