Atheist / Agnostic

March 27 2007 Atheist / Agnostic Newsletter

Hi! As BellaOnline's new Atheist/Agnostic editor, I am excited to announce the posting of two new articles on the site. They are:

1. The Atheist Bumper Sticker Dilemma
Contemplating an atheist bumper sticker? You might want to think twice about the message you’re sending.

2. Coping With Christian Holidays
Holiday blues got you down? Whether it's Christmas, Easter, or some other religious festival, coping with religious holidays can be doubly challenging for atheists and agnostics.

Once you've had a chance to read these articles, I'd love to hear your thoughts about how you handle Easter celebrations and whether you have (or have considered getting) any atheist bumper stickers. Perhaps these would even make good topics for our community forum, which, as always, can be found here:

And speaking of our forum, you'll want to put in your two cents about the latest forum thread. Please help us "Set it straight for atheism" here:

Even if you don't have time to participate in the forum, I'd love to hear back from you. Please don't hesitate to reply to this message with your thoughts and comments. And don't forget to pass this message along to anyone else who you think might be interested. Even among atheists, the more, the merrier!

And finally, the atheist quote of the week, from the historian Stephen Henry Roberts:
"I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours."
