Greetings from the Land of OZ!
Last week I was a tourist in the Southwestern area of the United States. I had no idea that it was so gorgeous. Have you ever been to Bryce Canyon? Yes? Then, you know how breathtaking it is! No? If you ever get a chance to go, then just GO! You will not be disappointed. The national parks in Colorado, Arizona, and Utah are fabulous! It was a shock coming back to the heat and humidity of Kansas.
I wasn't able to send out a newsletter last week due to lack of wi-fi, so I am including links to the current article and last week's article.

Complex Learning in College with ADD
A significant number of people with ADD also have learning disabilities. These learning difficulties work together with Attention Deficit Disorder to make acquiring new complex skills in college classes a challenging task. This article has practical tips to help students learn those complex skills.

A child could inherit a thinner than normal cortex, due to the genetics of Attention Deficit Disorder. It is possible to somewhat mitigate the effects of genetics by enhancing the environmental circumstances of the young child. Be creative to set the conditions to increase cortical development.
