July 14 2017 Attention Deficit Disorder Newsletter
Greetings from the Land of OZ!
Over the last month, I have been reminded of how profoundly music can affect my mood and motivation. I did a little checking around to see what research has come out since I last explored this topic. Not much! Oh well, I think that the proof is in what music does for us. Each person has their unique set of reactions to a piece of music. Consciously choose what works for you.
Using Music for ADD Motivation
As you go through your day, play the music of your life. Listening to music, pay attention to how it makes you feel! Music has been linked to the limbic system, which affects motivation. What do you need to do today? If you need to concentrate or study, put on music designed to help with that!
