February 2 2010 Beadwork Newsletter

It seems hard to believe there will be 6 more weeks of winter. Here in Anchorage it's unseasonably warm at 27 degrees F which means we are all wearing our lightweight jackets.

Here's the latest article from the Beadwork site at

Book Review- Fabric Jewelry
A review of Heidi Pridemore and Nancy Zieman's book Fabric Jewelry Wrapped, Braided and Sewn

In other news, I finished a how to do brick stitch book for the Kindle 2. I'm pretty happy with it because the coding worked. For some reason the description I wrote for it isn't showing but it has 7 earring patterns in it, several of which have been posted here at Beadwork at BellaOnline in the past.
I checked the images on my Kindle and the patterns show up easily enough to bead from the screen.
I also posted a winged flying pattern to my blog recently and the story behind why I needed to graph a flying panda.
