Hello!

This week's article is the very first to appear in the Biology site's newest topic area - Anatomy! For the kick-off article I decided to write about something I'm very familiar with - the Gallbladder.

While all humans are born with them, most folks don't really know where the gallbladder is located or what its function is. I know I was in the dark about this important organ until mine had to be removed! Here's what I know about the gallbladder now:

How Much Do You Know About Your Gallbladder?
The gallbladder performs an important function in humans and other vertebrates. While all humans have gallbladders, many people don't really know much about this organ.
