Dear Readers,
Today is day 18 of Lent. I've found that I have been caught up in the whirl of life and failed to slow down to meditate upon the first 17 days. As I sat to write reviews tonight, I read today's devotion. Focusing on Psalm 119: 69--72, it discusses rebellion, slander and suffering caused to the psamlist by some of the people around him yet he continues to walk in God's love.
Ironically, this relates to the children's book that I reviewed. Grandfather bear must explain to little cub that it is necessary to walk in God's love, even when others are sometimes mean or annoying. Beautifully illustrated by Laura J. Bryant, it is the latest children's release written by Lisa Tawn Bergren.

Additionally, you can read the review of Vicki Hinze's new book, Not This Time:
Part three of the Crossroads Crisis Center series will have you trying to guess the identity of the bad guys while rooting for love to blossom among other characters. Once again, Vicki Hinze doesn't fail to deliver.
