The U.S. Department of Ed. will release the 2007-2008 FAFSA (the Free Application for Federal Student Aid) on January 2.
All students--even those who think they can't possibly qualify for financial aid--who will attend a U.S. college or university in Fall 2007/Spring 2008 need to submit a FAFSA.
The FAFSA is online at www.fafsa.ed.gov - you will need a PIN to a ccess the system. If you don't have a PIN, apply for one now!
Non-citizens and persons without social security numbers will need to check with the financial aid office on campus to find out if they are able to apply for aid.
Have fun passing this message along to family and friends, because we all love free knowledge!
Happy New Year!
