Staying Motivated in the Summer
Does it feel like everyone else is having fun while you are trudging to your summer class and while sitting in your room studying? The summer session can be a hard time of the year to stay motivated. Using these motivation tips can help you energized during the summer session.

Higher education news:
-- Wake Forest University has started a comprehensive plan to provide career development counseling throughout their college experience
-- The majority of GI Bill students are attending either community colleges or for-profit schools
-- College presidency seems to have a glass ceiling for many openly gay and lesbian candidates. The few who have made it to the top university position plan to meet in August.
-- A new federal law will take effect in July giving students information about textbooks during registration. This will make it easier for students to make informed choices about textbook purchases.
-- A bill has been proposed in Pennsylvania requiring state-owned colleges to use the least expensive, educationally sound text books. (Visit the forum below to discuss this topic).
