Mapping is a tool used throughout the wide field of ergonomics, from user experience testing through equipment design and into workstation design. Mapping allows us to quickly look at reach distances, position of controls, and even the set up of multiple monitors.

Maps and Why They Work...Or Don't

Ever wonder about maps? Why are some easy to follow and others difficult? This article guides you through the beginning concepts of mapping and introduces you to the concept of the 'Mental' or 'Cognitive' Map.
